Can I write my own story idea?

Yes. Choose the Custom theme and describe what you have in mind in a sentence or two, and the story is written around it. If the first version isn't quite right, story rewrites are free.

How long do storybooks for kids take to make?

Writing the story takes a minute or two. Once the free preview is approved, the rest of a 12, 24 or 32-page book is illustrated in about 4, 8 or 11 minutes.

Can we print the book at home?

Yes. Every finished book comes as a print-ready PDF for your own printer or a local print shop, and it can be read online too.

What if my child doesn't look quite right?

Use the free preview: send a short note, like "curlier hair", and the cover and first 3 pages are drawn again for what the preview cost. Once the book is finished, a single page can be redrawn at the price of one page.

Can the story be in another language?

Yes. KlugStory writes kids storybooks in 11 languages, from English and Spanish to Hindi, Arabic and Japanese, so the story can match the language your child reads at home.

How is a new book different from a Story Gallery remake?

New kids storybooks are written from scratch around your idea or theme. A Story Gallery remake keeps one of our finished stories and makes your child the hero, which is why a 12-page remake costs 39 credits instead of 73.
