Can my pet be the hero, with my children in the story too?

Yes. Your pet can be the hero, and up to 4 people or other pets can join in, one photo each.

Does it work for pets other than dogs and cats?

Yes. Rabbits, guinea pigs, birds and other pets can star in pet stories too, as long as you have a clear photo of them.

Can I make a book to remember a pet who has died?

Yes. Pet stories can be gentle goodbyes too: choose the Custom theme and describe the story you'd like to tell, from favorite walks to the way they greeted you at the door. Story rewrites are free, so you can get the words right.

Will my pet look the same throughout the book?

Their photo is sent with every illustration and their coat and markings are noted on a character sheet, so they stay consistent. Now and then a small detail may still slip: send a note on the preview, or have a finished page redrawn at the price of a single page.

Can I give a pet story as a gift?

Yes. Ask for a clear photo of the friend's or relative's pet, make the book, and give the finished print-ready PDF, ready to print wherever they like.

Can the story be told from my pet's point of view?

You can ask for it in your idea, for example "Waffle tells the story of her first trip to the beach", and the story follows your idea. If the first version isn't right, rewrites are free.
